Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, Mauna Kea’s younger sister, has defined Big Island luxury since its opening in 1994. As the second phase in the creation of Mauna Kea Resort, the hotel property rounds out this 1,839 acres of oceanfront paradise. Set atop its own legendary beach, Hapuna presents a more contemporary style. Hapuna’s modern pool amenity overlooks the surf below. Hapuna is home to its own famous golf course, an Arnold Palmer / Ed Seay designed “links-style" course known for its extensive views and dramatic elevation changes.
As our guest, you have the opportunity to enjoy signing privileges at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. You can enjoy Resort restaurants, golf courses, tennis, shops, salon, spa and fitness services, as well as complimentary use of beach towels and beach chairs at both Kauna'oa Beach and Hapuna Beach. These services are available through our Beach Club membership which can be assigned to guests depending on their length of stay. The rate is $75 per day up to 20 days, flat fee $1,000 for 21-30 days, flat fee $1,500 for 31-45 days, and flat fee $1,750 for 45-60 days. Beach Club members also enjoy gated, reserved parking adjacent to the lobby of the Mauna Kea Hotel.
