The Big Island
The island of Hawaii, also called the Big Island, has many natural, recreational, and cultural offerings. Active volcanoes, rain forests, local towns, and Hawaiian history are part of the rich diversity of this island. Our Mauna Kea Condo can serve as the ideal home base for island exploration.
The northwest coast, known as the Kohala Coast, is famous for its classic sunny, tropical vacation weather. With sunshine averaging 357 out of 365 days of the year, rainfall around 7" annually, humidity at 48%, and an average temperature of 78 degrees, it's easy to understand how it became known as the Gold Coast.
